This letterpress print of Rumi insight reminds me that even when I am being challenged, I am growing and making progress. I’m making this limited run of prints available so you can have this reminder too.
The quote reads, “If you are irritated by every rub, then how will you be polished?”
I chose dark purple ink for the text and used slightly textured paper. The final print measures 6″x4″, so it’s ready to frame and enjoy.
I signed and numbered each print in this limited-edition run of 10. Please note this listing is for the letterpress print only: the frame is NOT included with purchase.
Shipping
I’ll enclose your print in 100% recycled and recyclable plastic bag with sturdy cardboard to prevent bending. Then, we’ll ship it to you in a padded 100% post-consumer recycled paper mailer.
How I Made These Prints
In March of 2017, I took a typesetting workshop with Tanline Printing. Amanda taught us about the history of this process and how to do it ourselves. I also got to print these myself by running a letterpress! This was my second time, my first time was during the Pen to Press workshop I attended 3 years prior. You can read more about that here.
