I shared with one of my repeat clients that I learned to engrave glass in calligraphy by hand and she instantly thought of a project for me! Her friends had just gotten married and my client wanted to gift them engraved cocktail glasses. The word is “Mitchenici”, a combination of the newlyweds’ last names.

Personalizing Engraved Cocktail Glasses
The planning stage always takes the longest, with any project. For these, I measured the glass using paper and created a draft. This ensured that the text would be as centered as possible on either side of the glasses. I taped the draft to the inside of each glass and followed the letters with my engraving tool. The entire process took me about 2 hours total.
